Popdarts Score Keeper

In Popdarts, the two teams’ points are cancelled against each other in every round, and only the team with the higher score receives the difference. After each round, the difference is added to that team’s total. The first team to reach 21 points wins.

Scoring summary

  • The upright dart closest to the Marker scores 3 points, every other upright dart scores 1 point, and darts that have fallen over do not score.
  • An upright dart touching the Marker is a Kiss and scores 1 additional point.
  • A dart stuck on top of the Marker scores 10 points. In that round no dart scores the 3 points for closest, and the closest dart scores 1 point.
  • A dart stacked on another dart scores double the value of the dart below it, regardless of which team the lower dart belongs to.
  • The two teams’ scores are subtracted, the higher team receives the difference, and the first team to reach 21 points wins.
  • The official cancellation rule applies to two teams. With three or four teams, each team adds the points it scored in the round, and the first team to reach 21 points wins.
  • Under APL rules, three additional scoring shots apply: a Fender Bender (a dart leaning on the Marker) scores 1 additional point and can be combined with a Kiss, an Inch Worm scores 11 points, and a Tower Shot scores 5 points.
